Get ready because we're going to cover a lot of time in one blog! The past few months have been a blur with busy work schedules, some quick trips to WVA and the beach, Halloween and getting ready for Max's birthday! So.... let's start with some quick fall pics of the fam. Max loves trips to the park, walks on the bike trail or around the neighborhood, and any sort of swinging or being tossed in the air. Ahhh... how simple life is for a baby :)

Work has been extremely busy recently for both Erik and I, so I was incredibly thankful when we were still able to sneak away for a long weekend to Nonnie and Papa's beach house in Duck, NC. I thought, there is no way I'll be able to relax, especially with it not being a full week away, but I'm here to tell you that there is something magical about the ocean and salt water that can help you de-stress immediately. We had such a wonderful time showing Max the ocean for the first time and of course, spending time with family and playing with little Sonora. Another "first" for Max that week was getting on a boat for the first time -- below are some quick pictures of Papa was showing him the ropes.

Although busy and sometimes frantic trying to keep up, we've had some good times with our little man and love watching him grow. I promise, promise, promise to update this more often. Thanks for listening -- those of you still out there :)
